the signs of a tourist

NOW. i live in two different places during the year...NYC when im in school, and little rhody when im not in school

so i am very fortunate to live in these two places that ppl come to vacation
BUT
i must do say that tourists are constantly surrounding me

the signs of a tourist:

1.  Big Camera

-yes.  a large camera used for taking pictures..of everything. "OH lets take a picture of this building, oh lets stop and take a picture of this seagull." like thats what the tourists are saying and thats what they do. take note...camera often hung around neck

2.  Matching Shirts

-lolol you can always spot a tourist family when they are all wearing matching "I <3 NY" shirts or matching hawaiian shirts. like get real ppl if ya wanna blend ur not doing it very well i can spot you from miles away

3.  Fanny Packs

whether your walking down the streets of manhattan or getting off the block island ferry YOUR CLEARLY A TOURIST of your sporting a fanny pack. popular wearers of the FP are older women sporting khacki shorts, a tacky grandma shirt and sneakers.

4.  Sneakers

as i mentioned in the previous post:  sneakers. white athletic shoes are a common amongst tourist for the excessive walking they do. YOU KNOW they are a tourist when they wear sneakers on the beach...lol shoobie



these are the tell tale signs.  usually tourist flock in groups of 4-8, are loud, and just dont know what they are doing.  they clog up the streets and the roads but we've all been guilty.  my dad likes to call them tour-ons lol
